Have a Good Night

Back

This is a small piece of work I made during my second week studying in London. In China, swabs are used for covid test and you are only allowed into all kinds of places if you have a green code to prove you are negative. From resistance and anger at the start of the epidemic to spontaneously asking where the test stations are, people have to test frequently in order to work, socialise and travel, and thus give up their freedom for survival. When I placed the swab in the path that people must cross, their unconscious bodily and metaphorical “bend” was interesting to me.
